Today I did not go to church….a friend of mine just asked me why ….i had many reasons to justify
- The day was very tiring and had lots of work to do.
- There’s lot of traffic on the way to church..
- Even if I reach their parking problems.
- Have to report to work early in the morning.
Just think 2000 yrs back on that cold night when Jesus was born in Bethlehem the angles proclaimed to the shepherds the savior is born, they never hesitated or had a second thought they just followed the instructions and went to meet the little baby born….not even aware what to expect but with lot of faith in the message delivered by the angles.
In today’s scenario most of us would have goggled to confirm if such news was true or just rumors…..and then after all the days hard work who wants to spoil the evening ,all this can wait till the morning… the shepherds too would have been working and taking care of there sheep all day long ,they never hesitated and just followed the angles instructions and that i think is the faith they had in the word delivered to them. The shepherd were surely blessed by following the word and we remember them even today just because of there faith.
It also reminds me of how much i fall short in FAITH....
